Our Vision
The vision of Powell Educational Consulting is to become a world-class professional development source which enlightens, equips, and empowers educators to elevate their effectiveness and improve student achievement by transforming theory into practice.
Our Visionary
Dr. Keith D. Powell has spent over 14 years in the field of education. His humble beginnings as an extended substitute teacher led him to take the alternate route into teaching, and he became a science teacher. Driven to make a larger impact on student outcomes, Dr. Powell pursued a career in school administration and has now spent over half of his career as a principal and assistant principal. Dr. Powell recently completed his Doctor of Education and desires to make a greater impact on students by influencing educators with his energetic and practical approach to professional development.

Accepting the notion that the power and progress of successful schools are supplied by the school's ability to collaborate, this professional development session transforms routine school meetings into productive collaborations by examining the components of professional learning communities.
Impactful New Teacher Academy
Understanding the struggles of new teachers and the difficulties they face, this professional development experience utilizes the Teacher Growth Rubric and the evidence it provides to reinforce the theoretical knowledge gained in their teacher preparation program through practical, real-world applications.
